Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 8+ years in procurement or supply chain, with 3+ years in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or FMCG.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management.
• Fluency in English and Tagalog; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement tools and ERPs.

About the Role

The role involves leading end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for key categories of Logistics and Admin, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for key categories of Logistics and Admin within Lazada Philippines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships mostly across local markets, driving cost efficiency (through various approaches: negotiation, price comparison, supply & business optimization, etc.), quality assurance, and on-time delivery performance.
• Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply risks to optimize sourcing decisions and mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and inventory planning teams to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and support promotional (campaign) activities.
• Drive sustainability and compliance initiatives within the procurement process, ensuring adherence to Alibaba International's ethical sourcing standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies throughout daily works.
• Perform as a direct person-in-contact for local procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), preferably within Philippines.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English & Tagalog; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous. Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and influence outcomes across multiple teams and geographies.
