Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join the Project Services team in Manila. The role emphasizes driving purchasing and expediting activities, improving speed and efficiency, and ensuring timely issue of enquiries, tender evaluation, and purchase orders.

You should have at least 10 years in a similar role, experience with procurement systems, and demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients, vendors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar procurement role.
• Experience with computerised purchasing and logistics systems.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Excellent organisational skills with multitask and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Encourage continuous improvement through productivity monitoring.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and report progress of enquiries, tender evaluation and award of purchase orders.
• Commercial analysis and evaluation of quotations to enable correct supplier choice.
• Supervise Purchasing staff to ensure timely processing of all Purchase Orders.
