Job summary

Capacita Consultants is assisting a major Philippine utility in Toledo City, Cebu, to recruit a Senior Construction Management Manager who will lead construction across power generation projects. The role reports to the Head of Project Execution and interfaces with EPC contractors, engineers, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Licensed/Registered Engineer preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in construction management or EPC project delivery.
• Experience managing large-scale power plant construction from construction to commissioning and handover.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, project controls, change management, and contractor performance management.
• Willingness to be site-based and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for construction activities across assigned power generation projects.
• Oversee EPC contractors and major subcontractors.
• Coordinate site construction teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction schedules, cost performance, productivity, and project controls.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ and regulatory standards.
• Lead commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
