Job summary

Capacita Consultants is seeking a senior engineering leader for an onsite role in Toledo City, Cebu, Philippines. The position oversees mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, and civil/structural work across major power or industrial projects.

You will review designs, coordinate interfaces among EPC contractors and suppliers, manage deliverables and risks, and lead the engineering team to document decisions for procurement, construction, and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated design engineering and multidisciplinary engineering management experience on major power or industrial projects.
• Experience reviewing contractor designs, specifications, equipment selections, and technical submissions.
• Working knowledge of EPC delivery, engineering change control, and construction–commissioning interfaces.
• Strong technical judgment, leadership, coordination, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, and civil/structural works.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and drawings for compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, safety, operability, and maintainability.
• Coordinate technical interfaces among EPC contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, construction teams, and Operations and Maintenance.
• Manage engineering deliverables, technical queries, design changes, and engineering risks within the approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover.
• Lead and develop the engineering team and ensure technical decisions and approvals are properly documented.
