Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Portfolio Manager to govern the Application Services technology portfolio, overseeing budgets, forecasts, schedules, and health across initiatives. You will allocate resources, partner with project managers, and manage purchasing and financial close activities.

This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive standard practices and executive reporting in a hybrid work environment across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, management or equivalent
• Certifications (CSM/PMI-ACP/PMP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Govern the portfolio of Application Services initiatives, ensuring budgets, forecasts, schedules, and health are represented.
• Assign resources work and perform resource planning and allocations.
• Provide support and guidance to project managers within the portfolio, ensuring standards and practices are followed.
• Execute purchasing activities including PO submissions, invoice processing, and spend forecasts.
• Collaborate with Finance for capital forecasts and labor allocation data and year-end close activities.
• Support leadership in strategy updates, annual planning, and executive reporting.
• Investigate and resolve issues with resource time entries and allocations to investments.
