Job summary

SPX Express is seeking an experienced PLC engineer to install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems in our Manila-area operations. You will develop ladder logic and structured text programs, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires at least five years of PLC experience and a strong background in electrical schematics, with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of PLC experience in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in PLC languages (Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install PLC hardware and software per specs and safety standards.
• Develop and modify PLC programs; troubleshoot programming issues.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent breakdowns.
• Test PLC systems and calibrate settings to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of configurations, changes, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety protocols and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training and support to team members on PLC systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance PLC performance.
