Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a PLC Engineer to install and configure PLC hardware and software, ensuring safety and integration with control systems. The role involves developing PLC programs, testing, calibration, and ongoing maintenance to prevent downtime.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 5 years’ experience with PLC systems in industrial settings, with strong skills in Ladder Logic, FBD, and Structured Text.

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with PLC systems in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install PLC hardware and software per specs and safety standards.
• Configure PLC systems for optimal performance and integration with other control systems.
• Develop and modify PLC programs using Ladder Logic, FBD, and Structured Text.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC hardware/software; perform repairs as needed.
• Test, calibrate, and document PLC configurations and performance.
