Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to operate, manage, and improve its marketplace and Xvantage platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, automation, troubleshooting, deployment support and cross-functional coordination with Product, Engineering, Operations and Support teams. You will ensure high availability, scalability, reliability and security, while driving rapid resolution of production issues and validation of platform changes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in platform operations, technical support, SaaS operations, cloud operations or equivalent.
• Technical Core: Python or scripting, REST APIs, SQL.
• Platform / Cloud: experience with Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, GCP preferred.
• Operations: Incident handling, monitoring, deployment validation, runbooks, SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor platform components to ensure stability and readiness for releases.
• Support deployments and platform updates by validating changes and confirming production readiness.
• Investigate and resolve complex platform issues across API, data, configuration and integration domains.
• Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts and operational checks to reduce manual effort.
