Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to operate, secure and continuously improve its marketplace and Xvantage platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, automation, and rapid resolution of production issues.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations and Support teams to test, roll out and improve platform features, while ensuring high availability and release readiness across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform operations, technical support, SaaS operations, cloud operations, marketplace operations or equivalent technical environment.
• Proficient in Python or scripting, REST APIs, SQL and database exposure (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to explain technical issues to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and document processes and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor platform components to ensure stability and readiness.
• Support deployments by validating changes and documenting deployment steps.
• Investigate and resolve complex platform incidents including API, data, and integration issues.
• Develop automation tools and checks to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Support and Operations teams to improve features and reliability.
• Improve monitoring, alerts, dashboards and health checks across systems.
