Job summary

HDEC-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE seeks an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee project planning, scheduling, and controls for SCRP S-04 to S-06 in the Philippines. The role emphasizes baseline management and coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in planning for large-scale infrastructure projects, with mandatory Primavera P6 and AutoCAD expertise and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Experience in EPC, heavy infrastructure, railway, or industrial construction projects is highly preferred.
• Primavera P6 – Mandatory: minimum 10 years of practical, expert-level experience in baseline schedule development, WBS, CPM networks, resource loading, and EVM.
• AutoCAD – Mandatory: minimum 10 years of practical experience in reviewing engineering drawings, interpreting spatial layouts, and aligning construction sequencing.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, project controls, and schedule management.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the project baseline schedule using Primavera P6.
• Establish project WBS, CPM networks, activity sequencing, logic, and critical paths.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify delays or risks.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and forecasts.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) and analyze project performance indicators.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure sequencing.
• Review drawings and methodologies to support realistic construction planning.
• Use AutoCAD to review drawings and align construction sequences with site conditions.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation or recovery measures.
• Assist in preparing schedule-related documentation for management, client, and meetings.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls for the South Commuter Railway Project (SCRP) S-04, 05, 06.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the overall project baseline schedule using Primavera P6.

• Establish project WBS, CPM networks, activity sequencing, logic, and critical paths.

• Monitor actual project progress against approved baseline schedules and identify delays or potential schedule risks.

• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and schedule forecasts.

• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) and analyze project performance indicators.

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure proper activity sequencing.

• Review engineering drawings and construction methodologies to support realistic construction planning.

• Use AutoCAD to review drawings, understand spatial layouts, and align construction sequences with site conditions.

• Identify schedule risks, assess their potential impact, and recommend mitigation or recovery measures.
