Asaba Manufacturing Phils., Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans, analyze demand and capacity, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The role requires 3–5 years of experience in planning functions, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for coordinating with multiple departments and assuring alignment with targets.
Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and available resources.
Analyze production requirements, demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Prepare and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ensure the availability of required materials and components.
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to align production plans and priorities.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, material shortages, capacity constraints, and changes in customer requirements.
Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess, obsolete, and slow-moving stocks.
Review and analyze planning data, production capacity, lead times, and material availability to identify potential issues.
Generate and maintain planning reports, production schedules, inventory reports, and other related documents.
Monitor key planning performance indicators and provide recommendations for process and schedule improvements.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding material availability and delivery requirements.
Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and other activities that may affect production planning.
Ensure planning activities are aligned with company policies, production targets, and customer requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior planners and assist in improving planning processes and systems.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or related manufacturing functions.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and ability to make data-driven decisions.
