Job summary

Laguna Southwoods Products, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Production and Material Planner to manage production schedules and material flow.

The role requires coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in planning, strong organizational skills, and solid Excel and data analysis abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Candidates with a technical or vocational background may be considered if they have substantial and relevant manufacturing or production planning experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, inventory control, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Logistics departments.
• Experience monitoring production performance and adjusting schedules when there are material shortages, equipment breakdowns, manpower constraints, or changes in customer requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, filtering, sorting, and basic data analysis.

Production and Material Planner

1. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Candidates with a technical or vocational background may be considered if they have substantial and relevant manufacturing or production planning experience.

2. Work Experience/ Technical Qualitifications

• Minimum of2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, inventory control, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.

• Proven experience in preparing production schedules based on customer orders, inventory availability, production capacity, manpower, and delivery requirements.

• Experience coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Logistics departments.

• Experience monitoring production performance and adjusting schedules when there are material shortages, equipment breakdowns, manpower constraints, or changes in customer requirements.

3. Computer and Analytical Skills

• Proficient inMicrosoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, filtering, sorting, and basic data analysis.

• Able to analyze production data, inventory levels, material consumption, customer demand, and production capacity.

4. Personal and Behavioral Qualifications

• The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-oriented. They must be able to manage multiple production requirements and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy.

• Strong communication and coordination skills are essential because the position will regularly interact with production supervisors, warehouse personnel, purchasing staff, suppliers, sales representatives, quality personnel, and management.
