Job summary

Oleo-Fats Inc. (OFI) in the Philippines is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production workflow across departments and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in production planning, understanding of production processes, and strong problem solving and analytical skills. You will work with the planning group to ensure on-time output and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Supply chain management or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in production planning.
• Understanding of production processes.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Be able to adapt quickly.
• Have good problem solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions.
• Be numerate and have planning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow for multiple departments.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand with coordination with Material Planner and Sales planner as part of planning group.
• Monitor production to ensure they finish on time and within target.
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to schedule changes to meet customer demands.
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.).
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and production.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft software.
• Background on time and motion study, process flow, process mapping, machine and manpower capacity allocation as part of efficient production planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
