Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Mid to Senior Performance Tester to design, execute, and analyze performance tests ensuring scalable, reliable applications under varying workloads. Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and executing performance tests.
• Strong knowledge of load, stress, and endurance testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, Dynatrace, Postman, and Selenium.
• Ability to analyze bottlenecks and work with developers for remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks using Dynatrace.
• Perform API testing and validation using Postman.
• Use Selenium for functional and automated testing as needed.
• Analyze test results, system metrics, response times, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams on root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Prepare performance test plans, scripts, execution reports, and recommendations.
• Establish and monitor performance baselines and testing thresholds.
• Support regression and performance testing across different application releases.
• Participate in defect triage and provide technical insights on performance-related issues.
• Work closely with QA, developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure application performance meets requirements.
