Job summary

Ascendion is looking for a skilled Performance Tester in Metro Manila to design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications. The role requires hands‑on experience with Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner and involves identifying bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.

Qualifications

Experience designing, executing, and validating performance tests.
Proficient with web and API performance testing.
Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
Perform Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability testing for web and API-based apps.
Analyze results and identify bottlenecks in application, DB, and infra.
Monitor performance using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers, QA and infra teams to resolve performance issues.
Prepare performance test plans, scenarios, execution reports, and recommendations.
Validate performance against SLAs and non-functional requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide tuning recommendations.
Integrate performance testing with CI/CD where applicable.
Provide estimates and strategies for performance testing during reviews.
