Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Performance Test Engineer in Metro Manila to define testing strategy based on NFRs and SLAs. You will design, implement, and maintain robust JMeter scripts for web apps, APIs, and microservices, and deliver actionable insights through detailed reports.

You will also create realistic test data sets for high-volume and edge-case scenarios, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality delivery to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Define performance testing scope based on NFRs and business SLA objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter for web apps, APIs, and microservices.
• Analyze results and deliver test plans, metrics, and reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Create, maintain, and manage realistic test data sets for high-volume execution including edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Define performance testing scope based on NFRs and business SLA objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Analyze test results, maintain performance testing documentation (test plans, metrics, and reports), and deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and manage realistic test data sets for high-volume execution (normal and edge-case scenarios).
