Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at the new BGC office on-site 12–14 days per month, with a 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule. You will ensure accurate Australian and New Zealand wage processing in line with legislation and policies.

You will support the management with timely reports, handle payroll inquiries, and drive compliance with industrial agreements and internal controls, while leveraging Affinity and Kronos to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a large multinational payroll environment.
• Experience with Affinity and Kronos preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver an end-to-end payroll process.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
• High attention to detail in own work and as a checker/auditor.
• Great time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of super, tax and payroll legislation.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Process allocated payrolls on time and accurately according to schedule.
• Serve as in-house SME for Kronos and support payroll/HR teams on queries.
• Act as in-house SME for Affinity; contribute to pay element creation and process improvements.
• Maintain employee master file and leave entitlements in Affinity per legislation and instructions.
• Process payments and resolve queries for Inpat and Expat staff.
• Respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours with accurate action.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and controls before payment.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance with industrial instruments.
• Provide timely reports to HR and Finance on workers compensation, expats, leave provisions, and labour costs.
• Promote health, safety, and welfare of staff.
• Assist National Payroll Manager and team to meet goals.
• Maintain compliance with reporting requirements and audits.
