Job summary

Boomering inc is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing using Astute Payroll, with strong independence and confidentiality. The role requires at least 5 years of payroll experience, preferably with Australian payroll environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, ideally within an Australian company or international organisation supporting the Australian market.
• Strong hands-on Astute Payroll experience – essential.
• End-to-end payroll processing experience within an Australian payroll environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within required deadlines.
• Use Astute Payroll confidently as part of day-to-day payroll operations.
• Review and validate payroll data before processing and finalisation.
• Process employee payroll changes, adjustments, deductions and other payroll-related transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, errors and employee queries promptly.
