Job summary

Deel is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate to own payroll processing and guide junior teammates. You will work with Australian payroll regulations, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements across our payroll operations.

The role requires a deep technical understanding of payroll systems, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in English. Helping employees and interfacing with regulatory requirements are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
3 - 6 years of experience in payroll.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll laws and regulations.

Summary
The Senior Payroll Associate is an experienced individual contributor who takes ownership of payroll processing activities while providing guidance to junior team members. This role requires deep technical knowledge of payroll systems and regulations, with responsibility for implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance across Australian payroll operations.

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
