Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in general insurance (minimum BCP & CGI).
• 7-9 years' experience in general insurance.
• Sound knowledge of general insurance (Property & Casualty classes).
• Management Skills and Business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters.
• Carry out quality assurance checks and train junior team members.
• Optimize efficiency and effectiveness in work processes within the department.
• Underwrite Property & Casualty Classes of Insurance.
• Manage portfolio profitability growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers.
• Develop and manage Broker Facilities.
