Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Senior NOC Engineer to ensure availability and reliability of critical infrastructure and services in a hybrid IT environment.

You will monitor, triage, and coordinate rapid response to incidents with a focus on operational health and clear stakeholder communication. You will work with observability platforms, AI-enabled operations, and cross-functional teams to improve runbooks, alert quality, and incident response while participating in rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple incidents in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Strong customer service mindset and collaboration across teams.
• Experience documenting incidents and timelines in enterprise ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking, and cloud or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and incident response platforms such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first responder for infrastructure, application, network, and security events.
• Monitor, triage, and manage global incidents with SLA-aligned communication.
• Use monitoring platforms to identify trends and reduce alert noise.
• Open, update, and manage tickets with clear documentation and timely communications.
• Lead or support major incident bridges during production-impacting events.
• Collaborate to improve runbooks, escalation paths, and alert quality.
• Stay current with AI, AIOps, automation, and intelligent incident response.
