Lead the planning, design, and engineering of carrier-grade network infrastructure, including:
Carrier Ethernet Networks (Core, Edge, and Access)
GPON and XGS-PON Networks
IP Core Networks, Public IP Addressing, and BGP Peering
Optical Transport Networks (OTN, DWDM, and SDH)
Conduct Proof of Concept (POC), equipment evaluations, and technical validation activities.
Provide Tier 3 support for escalated and complex network incidents.
Support Pre-Sales and Product teams on customized and non-standard customer solutions.
Coordinate with equipment vendors regarding network designs, quotations, technical requirements, and procurement.
Ensure network projects are delivered according to technical specifications, service objectives, and quality standards.
Develop technical documentation, network designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Lead troubleshooting activities and provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.
Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, telecommunications, network design, or implementation.
Strong hands-on experience with routers, switches, and optical transport equipment.
Solid understanding of: VLAN, STP/RSTP, LAN/WAN Technologies, TCP/IP, NAT, DNS, MPLS, OSPF, and BGP
Working knowledge of OTN, WDM/DWDM, and SDH technologies.
Experience in network planning, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and support critical operational requirements when needed.
