Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a senior network professional to lead design, deployment, and optimization of complex enterprise networks. The role emphasizes routing/switching excellence, security best practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong scripting and cloud networking familiarity, and the ability to perform root cause analysis during critical incidents. Occasional on-call and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or IT field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Huawei, or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, STP, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and multicast technologies.
• Proven experience in network design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting of complex enterprise networks.
• Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, Zero Trust Architecture, and segmentation.
• Experience with SDN, network automation, scripting (Python, Ansible), and virtualization technologies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud networking platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Cisco DNA Center, or similar solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform advanced root cause analysis for critical network incidents.
• Experience leading infrastructure projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, JNCIP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Willing to work on-call, during maintenance windows, and in a shifting schedule when required.
