Job summary

First Focus is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Manila team, supporting a portfolio of US-based clients. You’ll work across Microsoft environments, cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure, solving meaningful technical challenges that keep every day interesting.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Friday, PST business hours, with a shared on-call rotation about every three months. Hybrid work arrangements and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Systems Engineering experience in MSP context.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server experience.
• VMware/Hyper-V expertise and robust networking knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Mentoring others and customer-focused communication.
• Certifications in AZ-104, AZ-305 or MS-102 are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Resolve advanced infrastructure, cloud and networking issues across multiple client environments.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Azure platforms.
• Troubleshoot VMware, Hyper-V and virtualised infrastructure.
• Support enterprise networking including firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs and DNS.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and identity services.
• Develop PowerShell automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as senior escalation point and mentor Systems Administrators.
• Create technical documentation and SOPs.
