Job summary

ScalableOS in Makati, Philippines, seeks an Azure & M365 Cloud Engineer to design, build, and automate the Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms behind our managed cloud service. The role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code and acts as a senior escalation point for MSPs, vendors, and Microsoft support.

You will collaborate with architects and cybersecurity teams to modernize client estates, mentor L1/L2 engineers, and drive service improvements while supporting weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Intune, Purview, Defender, CA, and SharePoint Online.
• Experience with core Azure services such as VMs, VNets, Recovery Services vaults, and Reservations.
• Advanced automation and scripting skills.
• Experience migrating services to Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with AWS administration and resource deployment.
• Strong incident and change management experience.
• Ability to work independently and mentor L1/L2 engineers.
• Strong client communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical support requests within SLAs, escalating as needed.
• Manage incident processes, including Major/P1 incidents for global clients.
• Review and provide senior-level sign-off for changes.
• Handle complex change requests with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with L3 engineers on onboarding and handover of new clients.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with Client Relationship Management on escalations and service reviews.
• Support the technical development of L1 and L2 engineers.
• Drive continual service improvements across processes, automation, and operations.
• Identify resources and tools needed to complete projects and resolve incidents.
• Mentor and guide colleagues.
• Manage client expectations with professional communication.
• Participate in remote weekend and public-holiday support rotation.
• Follow information-security policies and obligations.
