Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced IT professional to support and develop Microsoft 365 environments across Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. The role emphasizes automation with PowerShell, strong incident/change management, and collaboration across IT teams to maintain enterprise reliability.

Applicants should have 6+ years in enterprise IT support, a bachelor's degree in CS, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of actual experience in Microsoft 365 support in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Security, Compliance, and Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)
• Experience handling complex technical cases, escalations, and issue resolution in a support-driven environment
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Strong understanding of identity and access technologies, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)
• Experienced with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
• Strong experience with cloud and on-premises technologies and operational support activities
• Experience with service improvements, configuration changes, and project-based support work is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, stakeholder communication, and customer support skills
• Experienced in report creation/design and presentation
• Relevant Microsoft certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Work independently to provide time sensitive support for software, hardware, conference room tech and enterprise systems issues.
• Design or develop permanent solutions and/or workarounds for escalated requests.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to fulfill user requests.
• Provide education and trainings to users to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Maintain ownership for end user productivity platforms and address service outages.
• Lead projects and other undertakings as needed.
• Create, design and present periodic and critical reports.
• Provide technical advice for continuous improvements on applications/tasks.
• Apply knowledge of technical concepts to perform operational support and project work.
• Communicate effectively across teams to deliver reliable support.
