Job summary

Global IT Services is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the Microsoft 365 platform, evolve identity, automation, and security architecture, and drive improvements end-to-end. You will design and implement hybrid AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, DNS, PKI, and Windows Server hardening, while advancing automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 platform engineering.
Strong Entra ID and Identity & Access Management knowledge.
Hybrid Active Directory architecture and engineering experience.
Experience with Exchange Online.
PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
Experience designing or implementing enterprise automation.
Windows Server engineering, configuration, hardening and troubleshooting.
Enterprise PKI concepts, architecture and implementation.
Strong understanding of DNS, networking and security concepts.
Experience designing or contributing to enterprise infrastructure architecture.
Strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the engineering, architecture and continuous evolution of the enterprise Microsoft 365 platform.
Design, deploy and maintain Hybrid Active Directory infrastructure, including Domain Controllers, Group Policies and integration with Microsoft Entra ID.
Design, maintain and enhance Microsoft Entra ID and associated identity and access management capabilities.
Design and maintain messaging platforms based on Exchange Online and AWS SES.
Design, deploy and maintain internal and external DNS services, including Active Directory DNS and AWS Route 53.
Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise PKI infrastructure.
Engineer, manage and harden Windows Server environments.
Participate in the transition and modernization of existing on-premises infrastructure toward cloud-based services where appropriate.
Ensure that architecture and engineering decisions consider security, scalability, reliability and efficiency.
Identify technical debt, platform risks and capability gaps and proactively recommend improvements.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort through engineering and automation.
Develop automation for Microsoft 365 and supporting infrastructure, primarily using PowerShell.
Build automated monitoring, remediation and operational workflows to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
