Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Operations Engineer to maintain and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid, and SharePoint Hybrid environments. You will handle escalations, drive incident resolution, and participate in patching, upgrades, and capacity planning in a multi-account enterprise setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, strong PowerShell scripting skills, and a customer-service mindset. This is a full-time role with occasional on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premises and hybrid), and SharePoint (on-premises and hybrid).
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting complex issues.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid environments.
• Resolve escalations from Level 2 support teams, ensuring timely resolution of advanced technical issues.
• Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, and administration to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Participate in patching, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using PowerShell.
