Job summary

Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled supervisor to ensure production line readiness and smooth execution of commitments. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, QA and Production to align delivery changes and address issues that affect customers.

The role requires a BSIE degree with at least four years in semiconductors or electronics, strong leadership, and proficiency with Power BI and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BSIE with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in Semiconductors or Electronics.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA and Production.
• Knowledge of PDCA and 8D problem-solving methodologies is a plus.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure Production line is loaded with enough WIP for continuous flow of activities
• Closely work with Purchasing on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery
• Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing the issues/concerns
• Inform the customers for any changes of delivery/shipment commit
• Escalate issues/concerns to Planning manager

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in BSIE or its equivalents with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in Semiconductior or Electronics (functional skills)

Skills

• Leadership capabilities to manage a team
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft and formulas, PDCA, 8D, Power BI, and Oracle is an advantage
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
