Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Chemical technology experience is a plus.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or industrial production is advantageous.
• Knowledge of process control systems and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and technical instructions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Management & Productivity - Manages production activities at their level to ensure processes run smoothly, maintain productivity, and consistently attend their assigned duties to ensure volume targets are met.
• Continual Improvement - Actively participate in the implementation of process improvement projects, such as EECIP, Bright Ideas, COQ, and other cost savings initiatives in the various areas within the assigned Production plant.
• Environmental, Health and Safety - Actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of Good Housekeeping procedures, investigation of near-misses and incidents, and ensuring that these are reported and commitment dates for closure of the actions are followed.
• Documentation and Quality - Safeguards product quality through careful execution of the PSM and WI, observation of process conditions and timely correction of any deviations. Ensures all data, observations, and actions are properly recorded to support quality, traceability, and compliance.
• Personnel Relations -Contribute to positive personnel relations by maintaining effective communication and cooperation with coworkers to support smooth and efficient plant operations.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent; Chemical Technology or related field is an advantage
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or industrial production operations is a plus
• Knowledge of process control systems and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and technical instructions.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite
• Working condition are normal for a chemical laboratory environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 kg.
• Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes/boots and hardhats.
• Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted to me worn.
