Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines (Laguna/Calamba) is seeking a Planning professional to develop and maintain production plans with contract manufacturers.

The role requires coordinating schedules, monitoring material availability, and ensuring ERP/MRP data accuracy to support efficiently scaled production. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with at least two years of planning experience, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort using Oracle and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Planning experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans for contract manufacturers based on demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability and ensure timely supply to support production plans.
• Track and manage inventory levels (FG, WIP, raw materials) to avoid shortages or excess.
• Expedite critical orders and resolve supply or production issues proactively.
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to align on supplier capacity and constraints.
• Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust plans accordingly.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (forecast, orders, inventory, lead times).
• Support new product introduction planning and ramp-up activities.
• Generate and present planning reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with contract manufacturers (lead time reduction, efficiency, cost optimization).

Education & Experience

• Knowledgeable in Oracle is an advantage
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Microsoft knowledge
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
