Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Laguna, Philippines seeks a Production Planning Specialist to ensure continuous flow by maintaining adequate WIP and aligning delivery commitments.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, QA, and Production to resolve issues, inform customers of changes, and escalate concerns to the Planning manager. The role requires a BSIE or equivalent with 4+ years in semiconductors/electronics, strong leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BSIE or equivalent with 4+ years in semiconductor/electronics.
• Experience leading a team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, Power BI, PDCA and 8D is a plus.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure Production line is loaded with enough WIP for continuous flow of activities
• Closely work with Purchasing on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery
• Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing the issues/concerns
• Inform the customers for any changes of delivery/shipment commit
• Escalate issues/concerns to Planning manager

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in BSIE or its equivalents with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in Semiconductior or Electronics (functional skills)

Skills

• Leadership capabilities to manage a team
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft and formulas, PDCA, 8D, Power BI, and Oracle is an advantage
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
