Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners seeks a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to lead end-to-end mobility for the APS region, partnering with Tax, Legal, Payroll and Talent teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective moves.

You will advise leaders, manage assignee experience, coordinate with external vendors and drive policy improvements across Europe and APS collaborations. This role requires deep APAC mobility knowledge and the ability to operate across time zones.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Global Mobility experience, either from a Big 4 consultancy, or in-house global mobility experience with a large international organisation.
  • Experience of managing the global mobility agenda specifically within the APAC region is required with knowledge and experience of the global mobility complexities this region can bring.
  • Tax/Immigration experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for all global mobility related queries within the APS region during an APS time zone (wider team and line manager based in Europe).
  • Manage the entire end to end mobility process for all moves within APS and cross regional moves from APS to Europe, coordinating all internal and external teams to ensure business needs are met and the assignee experience is strong.
  • Influence key internal stakeholders to minimise exceptions and ensure a consistent, compliant and globally aligned approach to mobility in APS.
  • Lead pre-assignment, on assignment and post assignment briefings with assignees to ensure a clear understanding of the policy, process and benefits, and to provide an enhanced assignee experience.
  • Oversee annual review of mobility program elements, including expatriate remuneration and incentive review; mobility allowances and benefits; and global mobility insurance policy renewals.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Associate Director Rewards (Global Mobility), this role will work closely with a broad range of senior stakeholders in the APS region to advise and manage CCEP’s global mobility agenda, policies, and processes. The role forms part of the Global Mobility Team (all other team members are based in Europe), with sits within the wider People & Culture Rewards team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Single point of contact for all global mobility related queries within the APS region during an APS time zone (wider team and line manager based in Europe).
  • The role will form an integral part of the Global Mobility team, directly managing all global mobility assignments and relocations within the APS region, and working with the wider team (based in Europe) to manage cross-regional moves between APS and Europe. The role will also contribute to the delivery of the broader global mobility agenda, working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a consistent and compliant mobility experience, which meets business needs and delivers an excellent assignee experience.
  • Manage the entire end to end mobility process for all moves within APS and cross regional moves from APS to Europe, co-ordinating all internal and external teams to ensure business needs are met and the assignee experience is strong. This would include partnering with Talent to discuss potential moves; advising on correct policy type; creating cost estimates and Letters of Support; communicating complex global mobility topics to assignees, leaders and PCBP’s; managing and minimising exception requests; liaising with internal and external teams to manage the assignee life cycle from pre-assignment phase, through to on assignment phase and post assignment phase, gathering assignee feedback to consistently improve the assignee experience.
  • Influence key internal stakeholders, including Leadership team level, to minimise exceptions and ensure a consistent, compliant and globally aligned approach to mobility in APS.
  • Lead individual pre-assignment, on assignment and post assignment (feedback) briefings with assignees to ensure a clear understanding of the policy, process and benefits, and to provide an enhanced assignee experience.
  • Work closely with a wide variety of internal teams, including PCBP’s, Leadership teams, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, People Services, Payroll teams, Rewards teams; Employment Tax team; central Finance teams; and Legal teams to ensure all moves are fully compliant and support key talent development / business critical needs.
  • Together with the wider global mobility team, work closely with CCEP’s external global mobility providers to ensure immigration, tax, social security, and global compensation compliance; and global relocation services are delivered to a high standard. Consistently review service levels, out of scope fee requests and business and assignee feedback within the region to ensure a focus on improvement.
  • Working with the wider global mobility team, develop and improve mobility policies and processes.
  • Provide expert advice, training and support to P&C Business Partners, TA teams, and People Services in APS on global mobility policies and processes.
  • Oversee annual review of mobility program elements, including expatriate remuneration and incentive review; mobility allowances and benefits; and global mobility insurance policy renewals. Monitor external benchmark data changes through the year to ensure alignment.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support on all Global Mobility RFP processes to ensure optimum external vendor service levels.
  • Work with APS People Services and Talent Acquisition teams to triage local hire immigration related queries where possible.
  • Support with identifying and implementing global mobility policy and process improvements.
  • Support Employment Tax and Finance team with any reporting requirements related to Global Mobility.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Strong and broad knowledge of core global mobility technical considerations – including tax, social security, immigration and global compensation.
  • Awareness of global mobility practices and complexities in the APS region.
  • Experience of managing the end-to-end process of international moves, both within APS and cross regionally, to ensure compliance.
  • Confidence when working with data, tax, and compensation calculations, and have strong technology and systems knowledge and capability.
  • Experience of managing global mobility compensation and related issues with local payroll teams.
TECHNICAL SKILLS PREFERRED:
  • Knowledge of immigration policies and practices across the APS region would be useful.
  • More in-depth knowledge of employment tax specifically related to cross border business travel and global mobility moves would be ideal.
  • Awareness of social security regulations and complexities related to global mobility moves would be useful.
  • Rewards experience would be useful, specifically in relation to compensation and benefits considerations when moving individuals across different countries.
  • Talent development experience would be useful, specifically in relation to global talent moves.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and take responsibility with minimal supervision. The rest of the Global Mobility team are based in Europe so the APS lead must be able to work autonomously, whilst also working closely as a team to ensure one global, aligned approach to Global Mobility at CCEP.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at a Senior Leadership Team level, and to influence key stakeholders to ensure policy compliance and to minimise exceptions. Must be able to manage difficult conversations and uphold global mobility policy and compliance within a complex mobility landscape, and balance that with a strong, pragmatic understanding of business needs.
  • Possess outstanding communication, organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and requests from internal and external stakeholders to tight deadlines.
  • Operate with a high degree of integrity and discretion. Global Mobility are often involved in highly confidential global talent moves at the earliest stage and involved in highly confidential discussions from both a business and personal assignee perspective.
  • Customer service orientated, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex global mobility topics such as hypothetical tax or immigration requirements in a straightforward, easy to understand way to assignees, line managers, P&C colleagues, Finance colleagues and Senior key stakeholders.
  • Develop internal relationships with key contacts in P&C, Tax & Finance, along with external stakeholders and advisors.
  • Confidence when working with data, tax, and compensation calculations, and have strong technology and systems knowledge and capability.
  • To be pro-active in identifying areas of potential compliance risk within the Global Mobility operational agenda. To keep up to date on Global Mobility related legislation changes on an APS and Global basis.
  • Be flexible and willing to work across multiple time zones across the APS Region and with western Europe.
