Job summary

Mondelēz International in the Philippines seeks a Global Mobility specialist to manage end-to-end mobility casework for the Europe region, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering trusted advisory support.

You will coordinate with relocation vendors, tax and immigration experts, and internal partners to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and elevate employee experience.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and a proactive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in Global Mobility, international relocation, Immigration and Tax in an in-house environment.
  • Experience dealing with internal & external stakeholders in highly complex, matrix organisations.
  • Understanding of labor laws, expatriate policies, expat payroll and global HR practices. Knowledge of the European landscape is a plus.
  • Experience working through queries requiring root cause analysis and providing end-to-end solutions.
  • Experience in handling complex, sensitive and/or ambiguous/stressful situations, exercising critical thinking.
  • Advanced knowledge of Global Mobility Technology.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end Global Mobility Case management for the population in the assigned scope of work.
  • Vendor accountability: manage day-to-day interactions with relocation service providers, tax consultants, immigration consultants, and other vendors to meet SLAs/KPIs.
  • Stakeholder management across all levels of the organization; prioritize under tight deadlines and build trusted partnerships.
  • Advisory: advise on Global Mobility policies, legal requirements, immigration regulations, cross-border payroll and tax rules.
  • Partner with internal cross functional teams such as People Leads, Work & Life, TA, Payroll, Finance.
  • Employee Experience: provide best-in-class service and anticipate inquiries to remove unnecessary steps.

How You Will Contribute

You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for Global Mobility moves touching the Europe Region, which requires having an in-depth understanding of processes, policies, and regulatory compliance rules. You will act as a trusted partner to the People Lead and business communities by providing detailed analysis, sound advice, and expert recommendations to enable talent deployment internationally. You will identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and will resolve operational issues. You will leverage expertise to work collaboratively across internal teams and external suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for End to End Global Mobility Case management for the population in the assigned scope of work
  • Vendor accountability: You will manage day-to-day interactions with a complex network of relocation service providers, tax consultants, immigration consultants, and other vendors to facilitate seamless Global Mobility processes. You will ensure agreed SLAs and KPIs are met and will elevate issues to the Regional Lead.
  • Stakeholder management: You will work with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization; this requires clear expectation setting, ability to prioritize under tight deadlines, ability to build trusted partnerships to resolve complex situations in creative ways, ability to make timely, executive decisions when faced with urgent employee needs
  • Advisory: You will advise the Business and relocating employees on Global Mobility policies, legal requirements, immigration regulations, cross border payroll and tax regulations.
  • Partner with internal cross functional teams such as People Leads, Work & Life, People Experience, TA, My Rewards, Payroll, Finance, Corporate Tax.
  • Employee Experience: Provide best in class customer service in managing expectations, anticipating customer inquiries, and removing unnecessary steps in processes
  • Escalation Management: Resolve escalations in a timely manner through clear root-cause analysis and identify long term solutions/improvements along the way.
  • Coach and support more junior colleagues to continue elevating skillset and caliber of the Global Mobility team
  • Lead ad hoc Global Mobility projects partnering with colleagues from other Regions or cross-functionally
  • Support the development and improvement of Global Mobility policies and processes based on changing market trends.
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in handling complex, sensitive and/or ambiguous/stressful situations, exercising critical thinking skills and managing escalations quickly to closure
  • Ability to navigate complexity with pro-activeness and a positive and constructive approach
  • Advanced knowledge of Global Mobility Technology
