Job summary

ScalableOS in Makati, Philippines is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 engineer to operate behind the scenes, focusing on security, complex escalations, and project work. This role is not frontline, not client-facing, and not a leadership position.

It’s designed for deep technical work as a back-of-house escalation specialist reporting to the Operations Manager. Your time will be split roughly 60% on Microsoft 365 security and escalation BAU and 40% on planned projects such as SharePoint Online

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 in MSP or multi-tenant environments.
Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Microsoft 365 security tooling.
SharePoint Online administration and migrations experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Clear documentation and practical problem-solving skills.
Microsoft certifications are welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

Resolve complex Microsoft 365 security and identity issues escalated from the service desk.
Design, adjust and troubleshoot: Entra ID / Azure AD (MFA, Conditional Access, access models).
Secure mail flow and phishing protections.
Deliver projects such as SharePoint Online migrations and tenant security uplift.
Perform root-cause analysis and document outcomes for operational handover.
Improve internal standards, runbooks and repeatability across client environments.
