Optum Philippines is seeking an Operations Engineer to maintain and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid. The role requires handling escalations, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating across IT teams to ensure reliability and security.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 environments, strong PowerShell scripting skills, and a proven track record in incident management and customer service excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premises and hybrid), and SharePoint (on-premises and hybrid) environments.
• Experience with incident management, ticket escalation processes, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Proven solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid environments.
• Resolve escalations from Level 2 support teams, ensuring timely resolution of advanced technical issues and service requests.
• Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, and administration of Microsoft 365 and relevant on-premises systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Participate in patching, upgrades, and capacity planning to maintain a secure and up-to-date environment.
• Follow and contribute to operational best practices, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure, to ensure platforms meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, leveraging tools such as PowerShell scripting.
• Assist in reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery and operational health.
• Support system migrations and integration projects as needed.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents, outages, and critical changes, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
