Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a skilled Microsoft 365 support specialist in Metro Manila. The role emphasizes expert-level administration of 365 services, Exchange and SharePoint in hybrid setups, and proactive incident management.

You will handle escalations, patching, security updates, and performance optimization while maintaining documentation and collaborating across Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams. A strong PowerShell skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises and Hybrid), SharePoint (On-Premises and Hybrid).
• Experience handling escalations, incident management, and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid environments.
• Resolve advanced technical issues and escalations from Level 2 support teams.
• Perform ongoing administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 and related on-premises systems.
• Execute patching, upgrades, security updates, and capacity planning activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using PowerShell and related tools.
• Assist with service delivery reporting and operational health metrics.
• Support migration, integration, and transformation initiatives involving Microsoft collaboration platforms.
• Lead technical response efforts during critical incidents, outages, and change activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support as required for critical business operations and maintenance activities.
