Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid environments.
• Resolve escalations from Level 2 support teams, ensuring timely resolution of advanced technical issues and service requests.
• Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, and administration of Microsoft 365 and relevant on-premises systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Participate in patching, upgrades, and capacity planning to maintain a secure and up-to-date environment.
• Follow and contribute to operational best practices, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure, to ensure platforms meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, leveraging tools such as PowerShell scripting.
• Assist in reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery and operational health.
• Support system migrations and integration projects as needed.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents, outages, and critical changes, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

The Operations Engineer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, administration, and support of Microsoft 365 services within the enterprise environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Hybrid and SharePoint Hybrid servers. The Operations Engineer will handle advanced escalations from Level 2 support teams, providing expert technical guidance and timely resolution of complex incidents and service requests. • Full‑time, exempt position with some on‑call and after-hours responsibilities as required for critical incident response and system maintenance
