Job summary

Green Coast Finance Pty Ltd, an Australian mortgage broking business, seeks a Senior Loan Processor to join our growing Australian mortgage team. You will handle loan processing for Australian clients, liaise with brokers, lenders, and conveyancers, and ensure documentation is accurate and ready for underwriting.

This remote role is based in the Philippines with 100% work-from-home flexibility. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience with Australian mortgage brokers, strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience processing loans for Australian mortgage broker
• Strong English and ability to talk to AU clients on the phone about the status of their loan
• Knowledge of Mercury CRM, AOL and Australian lender policies
• Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Australian lender systems beyond AOL is essential for processing loan applications effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, great verbal and written English

Responsibilities

• Phone and email communication with clients, lender BDMs and Conveyancing/Legal Professionals
• Prepare reporting on loan status pipeline
• Prepare loan submissions for AOL of high first-time quality
• Liaise with brokers to clarify scenarios to provide the best outcome for the clients
• Submit valuation orders and pricing discount requests
• Review each loan to verify that all documentation is available, accurate, and completed before underwriting and preparing submissions to lenders
• Maintain accurate records in Mercury and produce lender compliance documents
• Action MIRs and conditional approval lender requests, and understand why a lender has asked for an MIR
• Process tasks like email monitoring, chasing lenders for updates on applications and communicating with various lenders
• Assist clients in signing loan contracts
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders and solicitors/conveyancers to update them on the status of applications up until settlement
• Track Data Requests, including for pre-approval extensions and formal conversions
• Post-settlement tasks such as pricing and rate reviews
• Handling complex and urgent requests
• Admin tasks like email monitoring, chasing lenders for updates on applications and communicating with various lenders
• Assist and mentor other team members or support with internal handovers when required
