Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Metro Manila’s Makati area seeks an experienced in-house litigation leader to manage lawsuits and arbitral proceedings involving the company and subsidiaries. You will guide strategy, assess risk, gather and review evidence, and coordinate with external counsel to protect corporate interests.

The role requires 3–5 years of related litigation experience, a law degree (LLB/JD), and Philippine Bar membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree.
• Passed the Philippine Bar and in good standing with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
• 3–5 years related litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise lawsuits and arbitral proceedings involving the Company and subsidiaries.
• Lead as litigation subject matter expert, providing standards, solutions and recommendations.
• Oversee civil, criminal, administrative, regulatory, and other dispute-related matters.
• Formulate prosecution and defense strategies for lawsuits and dispute-related proceedings.
• Conduct dispute-risk assessments and recommend risk-mitigation measures.
• Gather, review and assess evidence for litigation and investigations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, memoranda, affidavits and other legal documents.
• Prepare witnesses and coordinate documentary and testimonial evidence.
• Represent the Company in hearings, trials, mediation, arbitration and proceedings.
• Liaise with judges, court personnel, prosecutors and authorities.
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor outsourced matters.
• Advise management on litigation and risk matters.
• Support dispute prevention and address legal issues before escalation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel or Head of the Dispute Resolution Management Center.
