Job summary

ServerHub in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Linux System Engineer (Cloud, Virtualization & Enterprise Systems) to own Linux hosting platforms, optimize performance, and maintain security across 24/7 production environments.

You will work with KVM/OpenStack, Docker/Kubernetes, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) to deploy and maintain infrastructure, while mentoring L1/L2 staff and collaborating with NOC/DevOps. Remote-friendly role with growth opportunities and paid leaves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux system administration in hosting/cloud environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with KVM and Libvirt.
• Experience with web hosting stacks (cPanel, Plesk, WHM, LAMP/LEMP).
• Scripting skills in Perl, Bash, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as final escalation point for complex server, hosting, and network issues.
• Manage, optimize, and secure Linux hosting environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
• Build and deploy servers from ground up with optimal configurations for performance and security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning and configuration management.
