Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking an engineer to manage infrastructure and operating environments, respond to incidents, and improve reliability through automation. You will work hands-on with Linux/Windows, virtualization, containers, and cloud platforms in a global operations setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Linux/Windows environments in enterprise settings.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware or equivalent).
• Hands-on with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Monitoring and observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Incidents and problem management in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure and operating environments.
• Respond to incidents and outages to restore service.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Linux/Windows, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to improve scalability and availability.
