Job summary
Verkada seeks an Embedded Engineering Manager for Storage Systems to lead a highly technical team responsible for on‑camera storage software and infrastructure. You will partner with Hardware, Firmware, Streaming, Cloud Infrastructure, and Product teams to define and execute the roadmap for next‑generation storage technologies across the camera platform.

Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading infrastructure or systems teams.
- Strong expertise in systems programming with C/C++, plus Go or similar languages.
- Deep knowledge of file systems, flash storage, memory management, Linux kernel internals, and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Storage Systems team and set the technical roadmap for on‑camera storage.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, Streaming, Cloud, and Product teams.
- Drive architecture decisions, reliability, and operational excellence for embedded storage and backup infra.
- Plan and drive project execution and quality improvements.
