IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join our Service Delivery team. You will act as a senior escalation point, handle advanced server, network, cloud, and security issues, and mentor junior engineers.

You will manage Windows Server environments, 365 services, migrations, and cloud workloads across Azure and AWS while supporting Cisco/Meraki devices and backup solutions. Onsite work in Metro Manila is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Support, or Managed IT Services (MSP).
• Strong expertise with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory & Group Policy, Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco Networking, Cisco Meraki, VPN Technologies, Firewalls, Routing & Switching, VLAN Configuration, DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP, Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), Backup & Disaster Recovery, Endpoint Security, Patch Management.
• Experience with Kaseya, Barracuda, IT Glue, Datto, Acronis, and LogMeIn is highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for Level 2 and Level 3 technical issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex server, network, cloud, and security-related incidents.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Services, and Group Management.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams administration.
• Perform Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations, including Exchange Online migrations.
• Deploy, configure, and support Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure Cisco networking equipment, including switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networks, and firewalls.
• Administer Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, wireless APs, SD-WAN, and VPN solutions.
• Support virtualization platforms and enterprise server environments.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions (Datto, Acronis, Chartec).
• Perform patch management, endpoint security administration, and vulnerability remediation.
• Utilize RMM/documentation platforms to support managed environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the Service Desk team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining SLA compliance.
