Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our technical team and provide hands-on support across systems, networks, security, and end-user devices.

You will troubleshoot IT issues, maintain client IT systems, configure network hardware, manage user accounts, and support Windows and Office applications while growing your automation skills and documenting processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of Networking, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, Active Directory/LDAP.
• Experience troubleshooting PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues.
• Maintain and support client IT systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and related services.
• Manage user accounts and provide end-user support.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and security applications.
• Perform system updates, patching, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Support firewalls, antivirus, and secure wireless environments.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Document IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Perform PC/laptop hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
• Use scripting and automation to improve IT support processes.
• Work with monitoring and IT management tools.
