Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve enterprise production environments across datacenter and cloud platforms in Metro Manila. You will work with Linux, IaC, networking, automation tools, and cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and high availability.

The role suits engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating repetitive tasks, and collaborating with stakeholders during incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years supporting production infrastructure in high-availability environments.
• 3+ years Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, load balancing, reverse proxies, SDN).
• 2+ years with Git, GitHub or GitLab.
• 2+ years with Terraform, Ansible and Puppet (IaC).
• Scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (preferred).
• AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS) (preferred).
• Familiarity with SRE and CI/CD practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain business-critical infrastructure in high-availability production environments.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify operational risks.
• Ensure infrastructure remains stable, scalable, and secure.
• Lead troubleshooting during outages and service disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders during operational incidents.
• Design automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Administer, support, and optimize Linux environments.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
