Job summary

LNDC INC is seeking a skilled interior design professional to produce precise AutoCAD drawings and compelling 3D renderings for Manila-based projects. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity from concept to construction.

You will develop interior plans, elevations, furniture layouts, and finish schedules, while mentoring junior designers and ensuring quality control across development and procurement stages.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate interior design drawings in AutoCAD (plans, elevations, furniture, ceiling, lighting, finishes).
• Coordinate interior drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other documents.
• Review drawings to identify clashes and constructability concerns.
• Prepare revisions and maintain records of changes and approvals.
• Lead design coordination and communicate with junior staff.

Technical Documentation

• Produce accurate interior design drawings in AutoCAD, including:
  • Interior plans and layouts
  • Furniture plans
  • Reflected ceiling plans
  • Lighting and switching-intent plans
  • Flooring and tile layouts
  • Kitchen and bathroom elevations
  • Millwork and built-in cabinetry elevations
  • Feature-wall and fireplace details
  • Ceiling, cove, reveal, shadow-gap, and trim details
  • Finish, fixture, and material schedules
• Coordinate interior drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-protection, and low-voltage documents.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify dimensional conflicts, ceiling obstructions, insufficient clearances, misaligned fixtures, and other constructability concerns.
• Confirm that designs accommodate actual material thicknesses, installation tolerances, substrate requirements, access panels, ventilation, waterproofing, and required equipment clearances.
• Prepare clear drawing revisions and maintain accurate records of approved selections and design changes.
• Review shop drawings, samples, mockups, and vendor submittals for consistency with the approved design.

Visualization and Presentation

• Prepare professional Look Books, mood boards, finish boards, and client-facing presentations.
• Develop or direct high-quality 3D models and photorealistic interior renderings.
• Ensure renderings accurately reflect the proposed dimensions, materials, lighting, cabinetry, fixtures, and construction details.
• Translate conceptual images into practical and buildable design solutions.

Project Coordination and Leadership

• Coordinate closely with project architects to ensure that interior requirements are incorporated into architectural drawings at the correct stage.
• Collaborate with cabinet designers, engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and field personnel.
• Lead interior design coordination meetings and maintain clear records of decisions, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Track outstanding selections, approvals, shop drawings, samples, procurement deadlines, and long-lead materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established design and construction schedules.
• Provide clear direction to junior designers, renderers, and drafting staff when assigned.
• Maintain rigorous quality-control standards throughout design development, documentation, procurement, and construction.
• Respond promptly to field questions and help resolve design-related construction issues.
• Participate in virtual project meetings during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
