Job summary

DMCI Homes is seeking a qualified interior design professional in the Philippines with 2–4 years of experience in project-based interior design work. The role involves defining project requirements, sourcing materials, space planning, and creating design development drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

The candidate will oversee design implementation, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and manage project files and libraries to ensure timely turnover and adherence to budget and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Interior Design or Architecture
• 2–4 years of relevant interior design experience, including project-based work
• Licensed Interior Designer or Architect is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in interior design standards, materials and installation systems
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
• Able to coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Defines project requirements and timelines in coordination with involved departments
• Conducts research and sourcing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) based on approved concepts
• Develops space planning, finish plans, specifications, and material selections for assigned projects
• Produces design development drawings, perspectives, and interior design manuals using computer-aided software
• Prepares material boards and design presentations for management approval
• Oversees installation of interior design deliverables to ensure adherence to approved design plans
• Conducts site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with design intent and budget
• Coordinates with consultants, suppliers, and contractors on design execution and delivery schedules
• Assists in staging and arrangement of furniture and interior elements during project turnover
• Maintains complete and updated project files, drawings, and design documentation
• Organizes and manages the department's design and materials library for reference and turnover
