Verkada is seeking an Instructional Designer for the Solutions Engineering Enablement team to transform technical content into engaging, on-demand training. You will own the instructional design lifecycle and collaborate with engineers, content architects, and LMS specialists to maximize field understanding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instructional design or multimedia production within enterprise SaaS, IoT, hardware, or networking.
• Advanced proficiency with modern e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia suites (Camtasia, Premiere, Audition).
• Proven ability to collaborate with SMEs, content developers, and platform managers to deliver scalable education pipelines.
• Demonstrated capability to create interactive software/hardware simulations and evaluation rubrics.

Responsibilities

• Multimedia Learning Production: create on-demand assets like podcasts, short videos, and micro-learning modules.
• Cross-Functional Content Collaboration: align with architects and managers for LMS taxonomy and discoverability.
• Instructional Design Strategy: design learning paths using ADDIE/SAM for onboarding, continuous education, and just-in-time assets.
• Engagement & Retention Analytics: track consumption, completion, and effectiveness using LMS dashboards.
• Micro-Learning Optimization: break down complex guides into snackable components for busy field engineers.
• Scalable Media Governance: manage a structured asset catalog and align with rapid product releases.
