Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to create, manage, and optimize high‑impact learning solutions across multiple functions. You will partner with SMEs, program managers, and stakeholders to analyze performance needs, design engaging experiences, and apply ADDIE throughout development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in instructional design, learning and development, or related experience.
• Experience managing instructional design projects independently.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and evaluation practices.
• Experience with technical and non-technical topics and working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply ADDIE methodology from intake through evaluation.
• Conduct learner and task analyses to identify performance gaps.
• Develop measurable learning objectives and determine delivery methods.
• Design learning solutions including eLearning, videos, and training sessions.
• Facilitate meetings with SMEs to gather requirements and manage expectations.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and milestones.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align learning with business goals.
• Ensure accessibility and localization standards across development.
• Partner with LMS administrators to support testing and deployment.
• Analyze feedback and evaluation data to improve learning effectiveness.
• Mentor junior instructional designers and share best practices.
